A DOSE OF POWER LIVING®: Score for the Team – As acclaimed Brazilian footballer Pelé said, “A great player is a player who can do everything on the field. He can do assists, encourage his colleagues, give them confidence to go forward. It is someone who, when a team does not do well, becomes one of the leaders.”

QUOTE CARD: “A great player is a player who can do everything on the field. He can do assists, encourage his colleagues, give them confidence to go forward. It is someone who, when a team does not do well, becomes one of the leaders.”"The kind of beauty I want most is the hard-to-get kind that comes from within – strength, courage, dignity.”
-Pelé

GLOBAL VIEWS: I was just in South Africa a few weeks ago and had lunch in Mandela Square in Sandton City, a commercial and entertainment hub in the heart of Johannesburg. A jovial bronzed statute of Nelson Mandela towers almost twenty feet above the sidewalk cafés and exclusive boutiques. People of different nationalities co-mingle as they dine and shop under foot. Adjacent to the luxurious Michelangelo Hotel, the statute and Square represent a South Africa that Nelson Mandela helped create – where all are considered equal under the constitution and the country itself can participate freely in the global economy.

A good leader can engage in a debate frankly and thoroughly, knowing that at the end he and the other side must be closer, and thus emerge stronger. You don’t have that idea when you are arrogant, superficial, and uninformed.
- Nelson Mandela

I think whether you’re having setbacks or not, the role of a leader is to always display a winning attitude.
