How focused are you? There are so many things you can do in the world. Opportunities abound. New industries are forming all around us. Some people have “an embarrassment of riches” – they are adept in a number of areas or have an abundance of creative ideas. Possessing a range of talents and interests is a gift but it also can be an impediment if you fail to focus. To be a success, stick to one thing (at a time). Choose something and become good at it. Let passion lead the way. Don’t “try” to do something. Work smart to get results. Beware of distractions – no matter how interesting. Move on only after you’ve arrived at your destination or made a decision to change course. As you fix your focus and take purposeful action, favor will chase you down like a dog running after the postman.
