Listen to this week’s message:
As Socrates said: “The way to gain a good reputation, is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear.”
Who do you want to be? Some people are more concerned about optics than reality. They are consumed with what other people think versus what is true. They are managing their reputation versus building character and real connections. Your reputation is the widely held opinion people have about you. Your character is who you are at your core, even behind closed doors. Seek to live up to your best Self. If you want to be considered trustworthy, then do what you say you will do. If you want to be viewed as hardworking, then finish what you start. If you want to be seen as compassionate, then be kind to others. As you close the gap between your behavior and your desired vision, you will paint an authentic picture and eventually become who you see.
Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
