Listen to this week’s message:
As Helen Keller said, “What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”
Who do you hold dear? My dad passed away on July 28, 2005 in our family home. As the years go by, the love has not died. We have a picture of Dad on the table as you enter the living room of the house. Whenever I pass it, I say “Hi Dad!” My sister does the same thing. It is a way to keep him present in our current lives. His spirit has never left the house or our hearts. Be sure to honor the love. Instead of being sad about those who are no longer with you either by distance or death, celebrate their existence. Keep the memories alive by sharing stories of your time together. Consider three things you learned from their presence. If it is a past romantic relationship, don’t feel guilty by rejoicing in nostalgia even if you are with someone new. In the continuum of this Universe, you are One with past, present and future. Give thanks for the experiences that are a part of who you are. Smile, knowing that their spirit was a gift that touched you and still lives on inside.
Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
With Purpose & Power,
Terri
