It’s been said that, “The difference between try and triumph is a little umph.”

What are you willing to do? Your language reveals your consciousness. In my coaching practice, I’m on the lookout for clients who use the word “try” a lot. “I am going to try to lose weight.” “I am going to try to save money.” “I am going to try to get that done.” “I am going to try to follow my heart.” It sounds very tentative and indicates to me that there is not yet a full commitment to achieving that goal. Declare that now is the time to triumph. Watch your own use of the word “try.” Instead of trying, commit to doing. Roll up your sleeves and get a little dirty. The road to success and fulfillment can be messy and indirect. Get ready to work. Go above and beyond by doing something every day to further your dream – whether it is for work or your personal life. Make no excuses. It may take a little more effort, but it will be worth it in the long run.

Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!

With Purpose & Power,

Terri
