WIE Symposium 2012
THE BUZZ: On Sunday, September 23rd, 2012, I attended the WIE (Women, Inspiration and Enterprise) Symposium in New York. This year it was held at the Parsons New School and featured topics such as The Business of Creativity, Harnessing the Potential of E-commerce, Presentation and Pitching skills for Entrepreneurs and Body Image and the Media.

The conference is designed to inspire and empower women. Over the years, the WIE Symposium has attracted an incredible lineup of thought leaders such as Nancy Pelosi, Jill Biden, Arianna Huffington, Melinda Gates, Sarah Brown, Queen Rania, Donna Karan and JP Morgan CEO Mary Callahan Erdoes, Diane von Furstenberg, Baroness Valerie Amos, Aerin Lauder, Ambassador Melanne Verveer, Jennifer Buffett, Ted Turner, Lauren Bush, Christy Turlington, Iman, Rosario Dawson and Nora Ephron. I was a speaker at the inaugural event in 2010.
