Women In Leadership Development Conference

On Friday, March 27th, 2009, I was the keynote for the 2nd Annual Women In Leadership Development Conference for The Gannon University Small Business Development Center in Erie, PA. The Conference involved “women presenting to women” and focused on the areas of: wellness, leadership and personal development. Dr. Kennedy spoke on servant leadership – “Becoming a PWR Leader: Serving Up Success.” I also offered a break-out session on “PWR Branding: Leveraging your Unique Value Proposition.”

Integrative Healthcare Symposium 2009

On February 19th and 20th, 2009, I participated in the Integrative Healthcare Symposium in New York. The event is a gathering of influential and inspiring practitioners and healthcare professionals in integrative medicine and offers informational programs, updates on evidence-based research, and peer-to peer networking. On February 19th, I moderated a panel entitled “From Local to Global: Nursing Leadership for Change.” Panelists include: Barbara Dossey, PhD, RN; Barbara Sattler, PhD, RN; Dorothy Larkin, PhD, RN; Mary Jo Kreitzer, PhD, RN. On Saturday, February 20th, I taught a Ta Yoga class for the program. I’m honored to be a part of these landmark activities.
