THE BUZZ… This past weekend, I led the Yoga Alliance Annual Board Meeting in the D.C. area. You would think that since it is a meeting of yogis that it would be serene – but it was a lot of work! Actually, I was elected to another three-year term on the Board and continue on as Chair of the Board. I am honored to serve the organization.
We welcomed two new Board members, Joanne Perron and Lynn Bushnell. It was a delight to get to know them and to receive a shot of new energy for our proceedings. We also said goodbye to four Board members, Veronica Zador, Pashupati Stephen Landau MD, David Caswell and Shakta Kaur. They will certainly be missed. Pashupati had his guitar with him and closed out our meeting on Sunday with a beautiful chant. We are now geared up to move Yoga Alliance into its next phase.
