As Maya Angelou said: “Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still I’ll rise.”

How resilient are you? Maya Angelou overcame the challenges of her youth by speaking and writing her truth. As an author, poet and civil rights activist, she shared personal experiences and gave voice to the feelings of those who have been subjugated and oppressed. With a sense of triumph, she reminded us all of our innate worth and inner strength. Whether you’re looking to jump obstacles or break records, it’s time to rise. Open the door to a new day. Regardless of current circumstances or what has happened in the past, this is your season to shine. Forgive yourself of trespasses. Leave behind what has held you back and plant seeds of hope. No matter how many times you fall–or are beaten down–get back up and hold your head high. Write a new story. Walk a new path. Approach life with a pure heart and optimistic spirit. As long as you have breath, you have the potential for greatness.

Until next time, remember-it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!

With Purpose & Power,

Terri
