As Muhammad Ali said, “I hated every minute of training, but I said don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life a champion.”

How hungry are you for success? Muhammad Ali is considered the greatest boxer of all time and one of the most recognizable figures in the world. He started boxing at age twelve and tenaciously fought his way to the top becoming a three-time World Heavyweight Champion. When I was young, I had the opportunity to watch him prepare for two big fights. In addition to strenuous physical drills, he would continually tune his mind and “get together spiritually.” His proclamation, “I Am The Greatest” came to pass because he willed it to through repetition, deep belief and, of course, hard work. Like Ali, train like a Champ. Treat yourself like a top athlete going for the gold. Face your flaws and amplify your gifts. Guard your thoughts and mind your body. Be vigilant in creating positive habits. Let only supportive people into your camp. No matter what “game” you’re in—corporate or otherwise—play smart and be kind. If you fall, keep getting up. Even if you feel like the underdog, as the young Cassius Clay facing Sonny Liston, dig down for that “extra ounce of power it takes to win.”

Until next time, remember-it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!

With Purpose & Power,

Terri
