Listen to this week’s message:
As writer and cartoonist Dr. Seuss said, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
How do you cope with loss? Any kind of loss can be hard to handle. The loss of a job can make you question your abilities. The end of a relationship can make you question your worth. The death of a loved one can make you question your faith. It’s natural to feel sad and maybe even angry during the grieving process. To get on the path to hope and healing, it’s important to smile at the good. In relation to a job, look for the skills you acquired and the positive people you met. In terms of love lost, treasure the happy times and the lessons you learned. To get through what may feel like the unbearable devastation of death, honor the influence of your loved one’s spirit on your life and celebrate their memory. People and things can be viewed as precious gifts that are on loan to us. Cherish the moments and be thankful for the experience.
Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
With Purpose & Power,
