Keep It Moving

MAIN MUSINGS: This has been a busy week! In addition to my regular business, on Tuesday, February 26th, I led a “Power To End Stroke” Workshop for Macy’s in New York on behalf of the American Heart Association. It was such a receptive group. I am truly honored to deliver messages for AHA because our missions are so in synch. We’re both focused on empowerment.

The free yoga classes at P.S. 154 on Wednesdays are picking up more and more students. I’ve been promoting them in the Power Living® newsletter. It’s a delight to see people in Harlem benefiting from the practice of yoga.

On Thursday, I was in D.C. for Yoga Alliance. I got up at 4:15am and took the 6am Acela – then turned around and took the 7pm train back to NY getting home at 11pm. I’ve been traveling that route so often lately, I was upgraded to First Class. I never really thought there would be too much difference between First and Business class on a local train. However, I have to admit, the exclusivity was a treat. Senator Biden was sitting behind me, and I enjoyed choosing my meals from the menu. I ate way too much! Even though it was a long day, it was quite productive. The Friday, I led our monthly Board call among other things… Being Chair of the Board of Yoga Alliance has been the most time-consuming volunteer work I’ve ever done, but so much more rewarding than I anticipated.

What are you doing to keep things moving in your life? Are you doing the same exact things every day, or are you open to new experiences? As Oscar Wilde said:

Our ambition should be to rule ourselves, the true kingdom for each one of us; and true progress is to know more, and be more, and do more.

With Purpose & Power,

Terri
