Listen to this week’s message:
As Rumi said, “Don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth.”
What is your narrative? With Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and hundreds of content channels, it’s easy to become consumed by other people’s lives. It’s even tempting to spend too many hours sharing posts about your daily activities. Focusing on the shallow aspects of living can distract you from your actual journey. Instead, unfold your own myth. Moderate your TV, Internet browsing and social media. Use that extra time to delve deeper into the legend of YOU. As Rumi suggests, get up early “to discover the moment light begins.” Develop a discipline of journaling, capturing your private thoughts and impressions. Like an explorer, actively search for the sacred in your life. Consider your hero qualities and be present with your own greatness unfolding. Start the internal walk and then one day you will grow wings and fly.
Until next time, remember–it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
With Purpose & Power,
