As legendary football player and coach Vince Lombardi said, “The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.”

How are you optimizing your current situation? It’s always interesting to hear stories of people who bootstrapped their way to success. While others may be lamenting what they lack and using that as a reason for not getting ahead, a bootstrapper taps into their innate creativity out of necessity. Sometimes when you have reached a certain level of comfort, that resourceful mentality is less prevalent. The waste factor goes up and the level of rigor goes down. Whether you need to bootstrap or not, always optimize what you have. Look at all of your existing options. Use your talents to their fullest capacity without leaving any of your gifts in the storehouse. Dig deep into your network and determine how you can create mutually beneficial relationships. If you have been graced with abundance, consider how you can have an even greater impact. There is always something more you can do with what you have. Harness your energy and push for that extra yard!

Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!

With Purpose & Power,
