As Maya Angelou said, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”

What’s your story? Maya Angelou had unspeakable things happen to her that silenced her voice at a young age. Then, she exploded with verse – approaching controversial and painful topics such as racism and rape. She exposed colorful and frontal anecdotes from her experience that inspired so many around the world to be authentic and audacious. In the spirit of Maya Angelou, speak your truth. Everyone has a narrative – details of a personal odyssey. Unless you were born with extreme favor, there are usually ups and downs. Sometimes it’s like getting on the small roller coaster at the local amusement park, and other times you’re gripping the rails preparing for the deep dive on the Cyclone. You don’t have to go on reality TV, but understand your tapestry – the bits and pieces that make up who you are. Perhaps you keep hitting up against the same wall. Journal your path and look for patterns. Maybe you’ve overcome a big obstacle. Honor your own resilience. Sharing your story with at least one other person may help you release old strongholds and help them overcome a silent plague. As you know yourself better, you will express yourself clearer and contribute to expanding the Universe.

Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
