Listen to this week’s message:
As Roy L. Goodman said, “Remember that happiness is a way of travel, not a destination.”
What is your default attitude? It may seem obvious but happier people have more fun… and are healthier and often more successful. Studies show that their brains are more engaged. You don’t have to wait for a huge accomplishment or be checking things off your “Bucket List” to be happy. Every day you can choose to take a positive or a negative view; to live in darkness, or actively seek rays of light. One study showed that it is the ordinary moments – such as having a heart-to-heart conversation with a friend – that increasingly contribute to happiness as you get older. So, travel happy. Go for a walk. Have a cook-out. Call up your inner child. Be quick to smile and slow to scowl. Find work you love and be sure to help someone else. Live life as a wondrous journey. Pack a cheerful attitude, embrace the bumps, and enjoy the ride!
Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
With Purpose & Power,
Terri
