A Zen Proverb says: “The obstacle is the path.”
What path are you really on? Sometimes you’re moving in a certain direction, the one you have meticulously planned, and you end up on an unrecognizable road. You think you’ve made a wrong turn. You don’t quite know where you’re going. Perhaps you’ve come up against what looks like a roadblock. Instead of trying to find an alternative route, explore the path in front of you. Don’t resist it even though it may be a bit bumpy and uncharted. Look around. See where it will take you. Take in the sights and new experiences. Although it is clearly not the path on which you originally set out to travel, it could very well take you to a more beautiful destination. Be present and patient. You may be just where you need to be.
Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
